Ana Sora is a private farm owned by coffee producer Israel Degfa. He grew up immersed in various aspects of the coffee industry when his father was a manager of a cooperative and his mother sold coffee at the local bus station. The estate is located in the Guji area, east of Yirgacheffe. Its western neighbor is Uraga and Adola to the east – the two places where Israel also has factories. As for the coffee plantations, this is a brand new farm: it was only formed in 2013. It is located at an enormous altitude between 1,900 and 2,350 meters above sea level. It’s a beautiful walk but a little tiring to get there! This coffee is a special micro-batch from the farm and is one of the very few Anaerobic coffees produced in Ethiopia.
